Audis Aleknavics (he is angry, because he thinks that in Latvia his surname should be written
the same as in Lithuania - Aleknavicius)
23 years.
· Born in a small Lithuanian town (Alytus) o At the age of 12 started to attend a circus
studio.
· Wanted to study in Moscow School of Circus, but then understood that this plan is unreal.
· After the secondary school entered the Faculty of Actors, "already after half-year
I understood that I have learned everything I wanted"
· Has earned money by juggling in the streets, cleaning the premises of McDonalds at
night
· One year worked with the famous prestidigitator Enrico Pecoli, and he is thankful for
the mastership school
· At the moment performs individually, calls himself a fakir o Voracious reader of books
(in Lithuanian) o Married, has two sons - Aleksandrs and Alvis (spitefully concretises: "Correctly
it should be written - Alavas")
· At the moment he is the main baby-sitter. "I put my baby in the carriage and go to
the. While he sleeps in soft sleep I juggle"
Can anybody learn to juggle with knives, lie on broken
glass, and fling about burning torches?! Audis with laughter quotes his father: "Tam nado
silnovo i durnovo (you shod be strong and crazy)." Nevertheless he admits with self-criticism
- you should be slightly crazy. Because these juggles are dangerous. The fellow confesses
that he has scars from knives, fire and broken glass. Then why should anybody do this? He
has soon enough understood that modern public craves for blood - as dangerous numbers as possible.
Audis tells how spectacular is the view when a brick is broken on his chest, when he pushes
a nail of 12 centimetres into his nose. Ugh! Probably he makes his juggles with the aid of
yoga? "In no case I am yogi. I usually laugh - I don't do anything through omm." Many people
ask him whether it is not difficult! "It is very, very difficult to learn the juggles, but
to know them - well, that's quite simple," explains the sinewy fellow. The juggle starts with
an idea. All you have to do is exercise. Without interruption. "I had an idea that I will
juggle with four badminton rackets. That will be a cool juggle! I exercise for one week. Then
comes disbelief. But you should endure one more week, then another. Tomorrow is already the
second month but still can't do that! It is so exhausting to try one and the same, in addition
your attention should be sharpened all the time."
