‘Queen of Mean’ Lisa Lampanelli to perform Sept. 18 at Heinz Hall – Pittsburgh Tribune-Review
Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday for Lisa Lampanelli, who will perform Sept.18 at Heinz Hall, Downtown.
The “Queen of Mean” is the reigning insult comic in the tradition of Don Rickles. A formidable presence at Friar’s Club Comedy Roasts, she’s an equal-opportunity offender who holds nothing back. She has taped several specials for VH1, MTV and CMT, and was featured on the “Best of” episode of Comedy Central’s “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn.”
She’s had back-to-back appearances on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” and published a book last year titled “Chocolate, Please: My Adventures in Food, Fat and Freaks,” (It Books; .99). Tickets are .75.
